Wakeboard is a short, very broad water-ski, ridden in the manner of a surfboard by a person towed by a motorboat. Wakeboards are comprised of generally the same materials as water skis. A polyurethane or foam core is wrapped by a fiberglass or fiberglass/graphite (on advanced boards) composite exterior.

Wakeboard features a progressive shape with curved flow channels and a reduced tip and tail profile. The continuous rocker along the edge helps this board maintain a smooth and fast ride. The boards have inside and outside foot strap inserts making them adjustable between free ride and speed/slalom.
