Types of Rugby Balls
- Match Ball: A match ball is distinguished from a
practice ball by its grip and stiffness. A rugby match ball is
firmer than the practice ball when fully inflated. They are made
from good quality natural rubber which offer a better grip. It is
expensive than practice balls hence aren't advised for daily use.
- Training Ball: Training balls or practice balls are appropriate for training. These balls are a bit softer than a match ball when fully inflated, thus making it easier to catch frequently. Practice balls are quite inexpensive than match balls. They are very rigid and stiff and are able to withstand the rigors of everyday use.
