The
Round-Off Vault Mat surrounds the vaulting board giving a larger safety
zone target area during elite level round-off entry vaults. The mat
cannot and does not eliminate the possibility of very serious injury
during this particular vault.The vault mat is constructed of a combination of polyethylene and polyurethane foams for added strength and durability and covered with strong, PVC vinyl. Three handles facilitate movement.
Level 4 Vault Mat System
The 3 piece system meets all specifications for Level 4 Jr. Olympic Vault. The base pit is 5' x 10' x 32" and includes 2 additional mats 5' x 10' x 8" providing 32" 40" & 48" landing surfaces.
Yellow velcro strips are permanently attached 32" from the front edge of each section. Measuring and taping is not required. 8" mats secure to the pit top with 4" velcro. All mats are covered in tough, PVC vinyl and breather mesh for durability. Inner foam is prime, 100% unfilled polyurethane - single layer in the 8" mats and lattice construction in the pit, providing outstanding shock absorption.
