Starting
blocks help the runners to get the perfect start in different racing
events especially in sprints. Engineered for faster & surer starts,
these blocks provide runners the initial momentum so that they could
attain maximum speed in as much less time as possible. Its use is
optional. Construction
- Starting block consists of a central rail system with a
spring-loaded plunger on the center rail.
- Two pedals (or blocks) are attached to either side of the
central rail. The blocks are fitted with thick rubber to take spikes
in.
- The blocks must be adjustable to allow the athlete to attain the
most beneficial starting position.
- These blocks have a center rail and slotted angles to firmly grip the blocks, and are adjustable to four different angles.
Starting blocks are set behind the starting line at a certain distance so that when starting athlete's hands are just behind the starting line.
