1. Sports Goods Export Promotion
Council
A nodal agency setup by the Government of India, Sports Goods Export
Promotion Council is responsible for providing information about
manufacturing centres, objectives, and the exporters directory. Sports
Goods Export Promotion Council was established in 1958 to support and
promote the exports of Indian sports goods. The Council is dedicated to
boost exports from India and assists the member exporters through the
several promotional activities. SGEPC currently has a membership base of
263 members from sports goods as well as toys sector.

Time Equipment, Meerut was conceived in June, 1985 as a UNDP assisted
project with the developmental objectives of upliftment of sports goods
industries by making available appropriate technology for upgrading the
quality of sports goods so as to augment the export of sports goods from
India.
