If we go by the American and Egyptian wall etchings, then the handball game's origin can be very well traced in the gone by era of 2000 B.C. The wall etchings depicted the players striking a ball against the wall showing the early phase of handball. As the time evolved, the handball game too evolved with it. General
It is mandatory to wear gloves while playing the game.
Style
Gloves need to be in light color that too made up of either leather or a soft material. The fingers should not be connected, webbed or removed.
Foreign Substances
No foreign substances like tape or rubber bands are allowed to use on the palms or on the fingers from the outside of the gloves. Similarly, any hard substances like metal or other materials should not be worn under the glove if, it creates an unfair advantage for the player as per the referee.
Wet Gloves
Gloves are supposed to be changed when they are sufficiently wet to moisten the ball. This would remain the referee's decision. Besides, it is the player's responsibility to have sufficient amount of dry gloves. Also, gloves with holes would not be allowed for playing the game.
